Lewis Holder has been in the avionics profession since joining the U. S. Air Force in 1975. Lewis spent 10 years serving in the Air Force and was an avionics technician on the F-15 Eagle at several U. S. and overseas bases. After leaving the Air Force in 1986, Lewis went into the world of general aviation in Peachtree City, GA and worked throughout central Georgia for many years. For most of 1987 Lewis worked at the Gulfstream Aerospace plant in Savannah, GA where he was part of a crew that rewired two of the initial G IV aircraft back to production standards after their flight testing and certification testing was completed. Lewis has worked on virtually every size and category of aircraft from the very smallest J-3 to old warbirds to homebuilts and everything up to the heavy business jet category. Lewis’ primary talents lie in installations and engineering, but he is also a skilled troubleshooter and repair technician. Lewis has been working in the central Alabama area since late 2005 and has gained a reputation for quality work and honesty. In early 2010 Lewis formed Holder Aviation, Inc. and struck out on his own to provide the same quality service and attention to detail he has come to be known for but without the corporate encumberances of a major employer. If you are looking for a cheap way to meet your avionics needs or for the easy way out, Lewis and Holder Aviation would not be a good match for you. However, if you are interested in the highest quality service at a reasonable price you should make Holder Aviation your first choice for your avionics service and installation needs. The most key principal at Holder Aviation is that above all else, the job simply MUST be done right. There is no excuse for shortcuts in the aviation business.
